I have always been involved with classics & car events, but noticed mostly guys attending.... fast forward to, 'Northern Gal' & the mission of getting the girls involved in the classic car scene. Why should the boys have all of the fun?!
My mission so far has passed 10 years+ & the girl involvement in the Classic car scene has come a long way !
The Community, Families & an emphasis on Women getting involved is the aim.

Why?
I like creating a Community space for like minded enthusiasts.
Hosting local Community events is about getting our classics out for a cruise & enjoying eachothers' company. No dramas. No BS. No pressure. It's a Social outlet for us . Dunno about you guys, but years ago, we used to do a lot of 'visiting' - you remember, catching up with family & friends ....a lot. Now it seems life is too busy & a text message or quick call is today. So, I've created a reason for us to want to bring our classics out to 'catch up' with your mates & the Community; Making new friends, aquaintances, network, make contacts & just enjoy the catch up, while we admire everyone elses cars / bikes & they admire ours .... Make Life fun !

Business Launches
Helping out small business get known with a kick-ass business showcase. Open to the Community to attend, all cars welcome ! Usually has raffle prizes too. The above are just a few of the many that I've hosted.

Cars & Coffee Events
Usually once a month Event supporting local business. Stalls & coffee to entertain the hundreds of classic car enthusiasts that attend this family & Community, all-inclusive relaxed event. Usually held on a Sunday morning. Various locations.

Northern Gal Meets & Cruises
Pop up Cruises. Sometimes at short notice. We just decide spur of the moment to get our classics out & go for a spin, hang out & grab a bite at whatever location the group decides on.
Northern Gal: Lazy Day at The Vineyard
Willdwood Vineyard was the location. Perfect weather, amazing Gyros, food, wine, heaps of stalls & a kickass band! A guest appearance from the amazing Rosie teaming up with the Mighty Kings; Ross, our apprentice also did a cameo belting out the Elvis tunes ! Packed with Classics that filled acres of lush greenery, it was the perfect backdrop for the numerous photographers that came to capture the moments. Last minute idea to also make it a fundraiser for 4yo Chloe.
A massive thank you to my hard working Team that made the event amazingly smooth & fun !!
Club Stuff
Northern Gal Car Club Inc. Club Cruises, activities, dinners & shows. We like to have fun & get together. Some previous activities include Go kart racing, Ten Pin bowling, Vintage markets, country pub cruises, barefoot lawn bowls with BBq, Picnic @Werribee Mansion & heaps more. Private Club Invites only.
Magazine/ TV / Media
Several Major Magazine, TV & Newspaper features. Fantastic to be recognised for my efforts...the Pink Car takes a lot of the limelight tho ;) I've even helped out a little for Rustys Bumper to Bumper on occasion doing a couple of interviews.
I also enjoy giving the opportunity to quite a few of our female Club members to feature in Street Machine Magazine as an 'Iron Maiden' article feature spread.
Furlan Club Major Car Shows
Hosted a few Major Northern Gal Car & Bike Events here. Fantasic full house turn out each time ! Rosie & Ross belted out the songs with the Mighty Kings band in the Elite indoor area, whilst DJ Marco spun the tunes in the outdoor area to a packed out soccer oval & main car park. Heaps of stalls & plenty of food was dished out by the beautiful ladies of the Furlan Club Committee. Classics, Drag cars, Trophies, & heaps of raffle prizes. All monies raised were donated to the Olivia Newton John Foundation. A Thanks to Shannons & Meguires for their support on these ones. These events were enjoyed by all :) A massive thank you to my hard working Team that made the event amazingly smooth & fun !!
Victorian Hot Rod Shows
Club display at a couple of the Victorian Hot Rod Shows at the beautiful Exhibiton Buildings in Carlton. We have had a dedicated outdoor display for our Club Members & also an indoor display. Fantastic experience !

Gasolene Tv: Hot Rod Show Crew
Teamed up with Gasolene TV's Michael Curson & the Crew to help deliver some fantastic Gasolene 'Australian & American Muscle Car Expo' also hosted at the Carlton Exhibition Buildings. Behind the scenes was a lot of work & late nights for the organisation of such large scale Victorian events. ( as you can imagine) Result: Ran smoothly for the full on 3 Day event. One year we featured the Mad Max actors & car collection. Also, each show had Trophies, prizes , the Crém de la Crém of rare & classics & so much more ! It was a deep learning curve over the years of being a part of Michael's Crew in various roles. Amazing opportunity.
